Session 7: Design and Performance of Process Facilities

Papers in this session will report on progress made in the design and performance of key components in process facilities. Topics include improvements to Horizontal Pipe Separators and increased understanding of conditions for gas-liquid stratified flow. A paper gives actual test data on how well nutshell filters perform as filter flux increases. The use of drones to reduce the cost and time for inventorying oilfield equipment is described. Facility Design Project Management and a discussion of safety issues with high temperature fracture fluids rounds out the program.

Session 8: Static and Dynamic Reservoir Characterization

Comprehensive reservoir description is fundamental to successful field development. This requires integration of core and well log data to build representative static and dynamic reservoir models. Presentations in this session provide insight to characterizing and predicting reservoir properties using soft computing methodologies; machine learning to analyze massive amounts of reservoir data; and logging to identify lithology and fluid types.
