Session 1: Production Operations

North American liquids-rich basins introduce unique difficulties for unconventional reservoir performance and evaluation. Operators are challenged to efficiently understand overall asset performance, evaluate additional potential from most recent wellbore constructions, and optimize producing wells on a larger-scale. The industry is putting more emphasis on best practices to assess existing production, improve production based upon incremental or field development opportunities, and longer-term and scale-able production maintenance strategies. This session covers efficient methods to understand asset performance from simulated well models, develop horizontal well production evaluations, and implement scaleable production optimization strategies on existing, newly completed wells.

Session 2: Drilling and Reservoir Characterization

Subsurface and drilling teams in liquids-rich basins have been working extensively on optimizing value in drilling and reservoir deliverability. This session focuses on recent advances in drilling applications and in evaluating subsurface properties to accurately tie past and forecast future production, thereby better defining well performance parameters.

Session 3: Liquids Rich Basins: Practice and Activity

This session highlights the challenges operators of liquids-rich assets are facing in developing their acreage positions today - specifically: well performance evaluation, stimulation, and workovers. Case histories will be used to provide examples of practices, challenges, and opportunities for developing unconventional liquids-rich reservoir systems.
