Considerable tight oil resources in China accumulate in carbonate rocks. Due to their individual differences, target oriented seismic characterization is performed from log based petrophysical analysis and data mining to seismic inversion and quantitative description. The objective of this study is to map tight carbonate reservoir properties and provide technical support to drilling site deployment.
