A series of comparative tests have been performed between the autoclave and high-pressure rheometer to assess the capability of the high-pressure rheometer to replicate the results of the autoclave while utilizing smaller valumes and having increased sensitivity. A total of ten oils were used in the evaluation with an excellent correlation between the autoclave and rheometer. An overview of the results, the testing methodologies and equipment is contained within the paper to ensure the community can replicate the results.
