Just a reminder....

OnePetro is a separate site from www.spe.org. You MUST create a OnePetro login (separate from the SPE login) to access member pricing and/or individual subscriptions* in OnePetro. It can be the same as the password you have elected to use on SPE.org, but is not required.

*If your company has an unlimited subscription with IP validated access, you DO NOT need to login. You will automatically see a link to the PDF for the papers that are included in your subscription.

How to Register on OnePetro:

Click on the login link in the upper right hand corner of the OnePetro Homepage.

 

Click on the “New User Registration” on the login screen.

Email Validation

The first thing you will see is a screen to validate that you do not already have a login active in the OnePetro system. 

If a you already have a login, it will refer you to the “Forgot Password” or request you call Customer Service for assistance.

 

Account Information:

If you do not have an email address in our system it will then display a page for you to enter your profile information.

Required fields:

• Email Address (already filled in from previous page)
• Password
• Confirm Password
• Challenge Question and Answer
• First Name (Forename, Given Name)
• Last Name (Surname)
• Address Line 1
• City
• Country

Note: You are welcome to provide a phone number so we can contact you in case there is an issue with your order or downloads, but it is not required.

Membership Information: (optional)

You will now see a page that gives you the option to enter your member login information for any society that offers member pricing.  This will then apply member pricing to any document you add to your cart when you are logged in. Currently only SPE and ARMA offer member pricing.

***You do not have to enter anything on this page if you do not have a membership. Just click continue to complete the registration process.

 

My Account Pages (for updating your information)

Once you have created an account and logged in, you can always update your information by clicking on the “My Account” in the top right of the header.

 

You will now see a page that shows what your current information is with links to update.
