Document and Date Coverage
The types of materials included and the years covered vary by society. There are currently approximately 60,000 documents available in OnePetro.
Topical Coverage
While the core of OnePetro.org is the oil and gas exploration and production industry, some of the societies included also have papers from other industries. No attempt has been made to exclude these non-E&P papers, since the solution to an industry problem may lie in the experience of other industries. ARMA, for example, includes papers on tunneling to build roads or subways. NACE includes papers on corrosion issues in nuclear facilities, marine vessels, refinery boilers, and other industries. WPC includes downstream and broader energy industry papers.
ARMA
ARMA has included the papers from its annual conferences. Current coverage includes the years 1990, 1992, 1993 (partial), 1996, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2006. Additional years will be added as copyright is clarified.
ASSE
ASSE has included papers from it annual conferences. Current coverage includes the years 1999-2007. Additional years will be added as they become available.
NACE
NACE International has included both journal and meeting papers. NACE's annual conference papers are included from 1996-2006. If you are looking for papers from a specific NACE meeting, enter Corrosion in the field for meeting and the year in the field for year. NACE's journal Corrosion Science is included beginning in 1992.
OTC
Currently OTC papers from 1990-2008 are included in OnePetro with the expected addition of 1969-1989 being added by 1 June 2008.
SPWLA
SPWLA has included both journal and meeting papers. SPWLA's meeting papers are included from 1960 to the present. The SPWLA journal The Log Analyst is included from 1964-2000. The SPWLA journal PetroPhysics is available beginning in 2000.
SPE
All papers from SPE's eLibrary are included in OnePetro. This includes meeting and journal papers extending back to 1927. SPE also includes some presentations from Distinguished Lecturers and panel/plenary sessions at their meetings. SPE currently has more than 45,000 documents available in OnePetro.
WPC
WPC has made available in OnePetro all documents presented at past World Petroleum Congresses from 1933-2002. Papers presented at the 2005 World Petroleum Congress are currently available only as complete proceedings from the WPC website.
